Economy in Turkey: “What were the most profitable investment instruments of the week?”

The most profitable investment instruments of the week have been shared. While pleasing stock market investors, the dollar and Euro depreciated.

The BIST 100 index, traded on the Borsa Istanbul, continues to delight investors with its returns. After reaching its lowest point at 8,695.39 and its highest point at 9,223.20 this week, the BIST 100 completed the week at 9,111.50 points, gaining 3.20% compared to the previous week’s closing.

The gram selling price of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar, increased by 0.13% this week to 2,241 Turkish Liras, while the selling price of Republic gold increased by 0.11% to 15,059 Turkish Liras. The selling price of quarter gold, which was 3,683 Turkish Liras last weekend, increased to 3,687 Turkish Liras.

How much are the Dollar and Euro?

This week, the dollar depreciated by 0.64% to 32.0130 Turkish Liras, while the Euro decreased by 1.46% to 34.6330 Turkish Liras. Investment funds gained 1.13% and individual pension funds gained 1.81% this week. When looked at by categories, the “Precious Metals” funds were the most profitable with 4.02% among investment funds.”
