Economy in Turkey: Which investment vehicle gained most this week? Istanbul Stock Market, US dollar, Euro or gold?

This week, various investment instruments yielded different returns. Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul rose by an average of 2.22% on a weekly basis, while the US dollar gained 0.56%, the euro increased by 1.17%, and the price of gold per gram rose by 1.92%.
The BIST 100 index hit a low of 9,567.10 and a high of 10,008.72 points, closing the week at 9,900.25 points, marking a 2.22% increase from the previous week’s close.
In the Grand Bazaar, the price of 24-carat gold per gram increased by 1.92% to 2,866 Turkish liras, while the price of Cumhuriyet gold rose by 3.33% to 19,124 liras. The price of a quarter gold coin went up by 3.23%, climbing from 4,650 liras to 4,800 liras.
The US dollar appreciated by 0.56% this week, reaching 34.1150 liras, and the euro rose by 1.17%, reaching 38.0680 liras.
Investment funds gained 1.89%, and pension funds saw a 2.36% increase in value this week. Among investment fund categories, equity funds delivered the highest returns, rising by 4.40%.
