Election in Turkey: KILIÇDAROGLU says “We’ve taken all measures, we will announce results if YSK doesn’t”

CHP Chairman and Nation Alliance’s Presidential candidate Kemal KILIÇDAROGLU said that preparations for election security had been completed and a system had been established. He underlined that the election would also end in the first round.

In an interview on TELE1 TV, one of the most prominent dissident national TV channels in Turkey CHP Chairman and Nation Alliance’s Presidential candidate Kemal KILIÇDAROGLU made some “very important” statements regarding election results and concerns as to whether some (?) could try to manipulate results.

KILCDAROGLU said, “If the YSK (Higher Election Board) does not do it, we will announce the results. For the first time in our history, we have been working for election security for a year and a half. All the details have been calculated. Trainings were given. Required systems were created. There have also been test runs. In fact one trial was also held yesterday. Other parties (partners in coalition) are doing it too. We will go to the polling boxes in a festive mood. Take your neighbors, your relatives. Convince those who have voted for the AK Party and the MHP in the past period as well.

We have taken the security of the digital infrastructure. Even if the YSK does not share results, even if they refrain from declaring election results, we will publish them.”
