Erdogan says “We have no doubts about Russia” regarding second package S400 systems
AKP leader and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan answered questions forwarded by journalists on his return home after visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
Erdogan, speaking about the S-400s said: “We do not have any doubts regarding Russia, the purchase of the second package and so on. We have many steps with Russia, whether it is the issue of the S400 or for the defense industry.”
As it is known, since the United States refused to sell Patriot missiles to Turkey earlier, Turkey had bought S-400 missiles from Russia, which caused great tension between referred 2 countries. Now rumors that Turkey is scheduled to buy a second party of S-400 missiles are expected to cause even greater unrest between the two countries. This is at a time when Turkey is trying hard to improve relations with the USA after Biden was elected.
