EU decides to start COVID – 19 certification for 7 more countries
The European Union (EU) has decided to establish mutual recognition of COVID-19 certificates for travel with 7 more countries.
According to a statement from the EU Commission, Albania, Andorra, the Faroe Islands, Israel, Monaco, Morocco and Panama will now be able to connect to the EU’s system.
COVID – 19 certificates issued in these countries will be accepted under the same conditions as the “Digital Covid Certificate” of the Union.
The EU certificate will also be valid for trips to these countries from the EU.
Since June, 420 million people have been certified within the Union.
According to the information provided by the EU Commission, after the latest additions, Covid certificates are recognized among 27 member states and 16 non-EU countries, including Turkey.
