Major Investments Accelerate in Ölüdeniz
According to the latest reports shared in the media, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Fethiye Municipality have officially begun the 2nd and 4th phase works of the Ölüdeniz Road Project. The project is one of the most significant infrastructure upgrades in the region, designed to improve safety, comfort, and transportation flow across key routes.
On-Site Review by Mayor Alim Karaca
Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca visited the project area to inspect progress firsthand. The comprehensive investment—valued at 328 million TL—covers a wide range of infrastructure improvements.
The first stage of the project has already been completed. With the second stage moving ahead quickly, the aim is to provide a safer and more comfortable route between Ölüdeniz, Hisarönü, and Kayaköy, three of the region’s most important tourism and residential hubs.

Expressing gratitude for the support behind the project, Mayor Alim Karaca said: “On behalf of all our citizens, I would like to thank our Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Aras for this valuable investment brought to Fethiye. With a total value of 328 million TL, the project includes 11,000 meters of BSK hot asphalt, 2,200 meters of drinking water line, 1,600 meters of stormwater drainage, and 6,500 meters of steel road barrier installation. This project is extremely important for the future of Fethiye.”
