The AK Party government, which disabled THK’s aircraft with a sudden decision, has been experiencing serious difficulties in supplying aircraft for 3 years. Earlier, THK had successfully fought forest fires with existing aircraft for many years.

Due to the policies of the AKP government, Turkey either had to without aircraft or was unable to obtain a sufficient number of aircraft in the fight against forest fires in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
