First Meeting Between Turkey and Thailand Takes Place
TURKEY, in compliance with its strategy to establish business relations with more and more countries (and the one ones in Far East in specific) has signed two agreements with THAILAND
Over the last several years Turkey has attributed great importance to improving its economical (and political) position in the Middle East and Far East as alternative export destinations.
Within this framework Turkey-Thailand have convened to realize their first meeting in Istanbul.
The meeting has been hosted by Rona Yircali, chairperson of Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and Turkey-Thailand Business Council co-presidents Refik Gokcek and Pornsil Patchrintanakul signed an agreement about establishment of the council.
On the other hand, Turkey has also managed to conclude an agreement to start a cooperation between the two countries in the field of construction where Turkey is one of the world leaders.
The agreement was signed between the Association of Turkish Contractors and the Association of Thai Contractors.
