Turkey’s second-busiest and Europe’s ninth-busiest airport, Sabiha Gökçen (İSG), continues to enhance its connectivity across Europe with the launch of its first direct route to Seville.

Operated by Pegasus Airlines, the new international route, which began on September 24, 2024, offers non-stop travel to Spain’s Andalusia region, creating new opportunities for tourism and trade.

The direct flights, scheduled three times a week, are expected to strengthen cultural and economic ties between Turkey and Spain.

This Seville route is the first direct flight from Istanbul and becomes the third route from Sabiha Gökçen to Spain, following Barcelona and Madrid.

With this new route, Sabiha Gökçen now connects Istanbul to 165 destinations, including 40 domestic and 125 international routes across 54 countries.
