Foreigners continue to sell for third week in Borsa Istanbul

According to the Central Bank (MB) data, the sales of foreign investors in Borsa Istanbul indices (325 million dollars) continued for the third week. The exit of foreigners has been continuing since the week of December 2, when 339,7 million dollars of shares were bought on the stock exchange.

312.5 million dollars were sold by Non-residents in week of December 9  and 193.9 million dollars were sold in week of December 16.

According to the weekly report published by Central Bank, net sales by foreign residents were recorded as $ 325.8 million in shares, in the week of December 23.

When viewed from the beginning of the year, it is observed that foreign investors are sellers on the stock exchange. In 2022, foreign investors sold $ 3.9 billion of net shares. On the bond side, net sales were recorded as $ 2.2 billion in 2022.
