A development has taken place that concerns millions of vehicle owners. Movements in oil and currency exchange rates directly impact fuel prices. Following the increase in gasoline, diesel prices will also rise, changing the fuel price boards.

Date Announced for the Price Hike

A 0.84 TL price hike for diesel is expected to take effect starting from Friday, October 25, 2024. It was also announced that a 1 TL increase for gasoline was expected yesterday.

Upward Trend in Oil Prices

A barrel of Brent crude oil is currently trading at $75.32 in international markets. Yesterday, the price of Brent crude rose as high as $75.68, but could not maintain that level and ended the day at $74.90. As of 9:44 a.m. today, the price per barrel has increased by 0.6% to $75.32 compared to the previous close.
