GDP increases by 3.0 percent in first quarter 2013

It was announced by Turkish Statiastical Institute that “Gross Domestic Product” for the 1st quarter of 2013 had gone up by 3 percent at constant prices.

Gross domestic product increased by 3.0% in the first quarter of 2013 and reached to 28 075 million Turkish Liras at constant prices.

GDP increased by 9.5% at current prices

On the other hand, gross domestic product increased by 9.5% compared to the same quarter of previous year in the first quarter of 2013 and reached to 357 854 Million Turkish Liras at current prices.

Calendar adjusted gross domestic product in first quarter of 2013 increased by 3.7% compared to the same quarter of previous year, seasonally and calendar adjusted GDP was 1.6% compared to the previous quarter.
