German tourist staying at a hotel in Antalya loses his life
A German tourist staying at a hotel in Antalya passed away after feeling unwell at the beach. Juergen Leipold (60), a German national, was vacationing in Manavgat, Antalya, and staying at a four-star hotel in the Titreyengöl area of Sorgun.
He became ill while at the hotel’s beach. After being given initial medical attention at the scene by emergency medical teams, Leipold was placed in an ambulance to be taken to the hospital but unfortunately passed away.
It was reported that Leipold had a heart condition and was taking heart medication. His body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute after examinations by the Manavgat District Gendarmerie Command’s Crime Scene Investigation team, the Public Prosecutor, and a forensic doctor.
