NEW FINANCE MINISTER TAKES OVER

A handover ceremony was held at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. Lutfi ELVAN who resigned gave the following farewell message: “As the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, we have tried to do our best in everything that came under our purview.” The new Minister Nureddin Nebati, on the other hand, gave the message that “The most important priority would not be high interest rates”.

The Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati, who shared his opinions after ELVAN started his speech by saying that authority was temporary and that the important thing was the services provided.

“Turkey has become one of the fastest recovering countries in the epidemic process during the epidemic process,” Nebati said. “We have entered a new path with a fully independent Turkey mission, the most important priority will not be high interest rates.”

He went on to say: “Our priority will be to trigger investment, production and increase in exports and thus completely eliminate the current account deficit, external debt and work out chronic problems such as increasing employment, wage growth, ensuring all national and international take account of the internal dynamics of Turkey, also considering national and global relationships, business, businessman and employees. We will have a political understanding of the economy in which people take priority, no matter what position they are in.”
