Health Minister announces number of casualties and cases caused by Corona on August 7

Current corona data in Turkey was announced by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca. The Minister announced today that 15 people had died because of the virus and said: “the increase in the number of new patients continues. Our number of patients recovering, as it was yesterday, is less than the number of new patients.”

While 15 people died today due to Corona, the total number of cases in Turkey rose to 238,450 and the total number of deaths to 5,813.

According to current data, 28 thousand more people have been cured of the virus. Thus, the total number of people recovered increased to 221,574. The table stated that the number of seriously ill patients was 586, while the rate of pneumonia in patients was 8.3 percent.
