Historical record expectation in Turkey’s tourism

Firuz BAGLIKAYA, TÜRSAB Chairman has made a statement about the latest situation of Turkey’s tourism saying, “We are going through a period in which there is a Global travel frenzy after the pandemic.”
Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB) Chairman of the Board said Turkey would reach the highest number of tourists in history and the highest income would be reached in the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey.
He stated that the main thing was to increase tourism revenues per capita and it was important to set up a tourism policy from the beginning that would increase both tourism income per capita and per capita income per night.
RESERVATIONS ARE GOING WELL
Emphasizing that the winter period would also be lively according to the information they received from travel agencies, the chairman said: “The demand from the domestic and foreign markets is high, especially for our destinations that are revived with nature, thermal and ski tourism. We aim to have a better winter season than last year. The reservation requests for our country for the summer season of 2023 are going very well. We had very positive talks at the WTM London Fair, which we attended at the beginning of November. We are also getting positive news from other markets. If there is no failure, we will have reached the highest number of tourists and the highest income in history in the 100th year of the foundation of our Republic.”
