The Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued an hourly rainstorm warning for several regions across the country. Today, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy in most areas, with showers and thunderstorms forecast for the Coastal Aegean, the Toros Mountains region in the Eastern Mediterranean, Thrace, and parts of Eastern Anatolia including Erzurum, Muş, Bitlis, Kars, Ağrı, and western Van.

Temperatures will continue to stay higher than seasonal averages throughout Turkey, bringing a relatively mild November day despite local showers.

Winds Across Regions

Winds are expected to blow from the north and northeast in the Marmara region, while in other regions, they will generally come from southern directions at light to moderate strength.
