How many tourists arrived in Turkey by cruise in first six months?
According to statistics released by the General Directorate of Maritime Trade, 286 cruise ships docked at Turkish ports in the first six months. Of those, 110 arrived in June.
The most popular cruise ports
KUSADASI was the port where the highest number of ships docked with 153 cruise ships, followed by Istanbul Galataport with 46 ships. The port of Bodrum took the third place with 24 ships.
How many passengers arrived?
In the first six months of 2022, the number of cruise passengers was set at 205 thousand.
The busiest ports in terms of passenger traffic were KUSADASI with 138 thousand passengers and Istanbul Galataport with 39 thousand passengers.
