Istanbul Sea Buses Company (İDO) will start its 2025 season to the Aegean Islands on March 29th. İDO General Manager Murat Orhan stated that the goal for 2025 is to transport over 300,000 passengers to the Aegean Islands. In 2024, İDO launched tourist ferry services to the Aegean Islands, marking its entry into the international market, and successfully transported 155,000 passengers.

For 2025, İDO plans to provide expanded services with 8 ferries. The services will begin with the Samos Island route on March 29th, and other routes will begin operating in May. İDO is continuing field studies and obtaining necessary permits for new routes due to high demand from the islands. The company aims to transport over 300,000 passengers to the Aegean Islands this year.

During the holiday period, special services will be arranged, with the Samos route operating daily. Ferries to Samos will depart from Seferihisar at 08:00, and from Kuşadası at 08:45. After the holiday, the Samos route will operate three days a week in April, four days a week in May, and daily from June until mid-September. In September, the service will increase to five days a week, with the last trip on September 28th.

New routes are also starting. The Dikili-Midilli route will start on May 16th, operating once a week in May, three times a week in June, and daily during July and August. Additionally, the Turgutreis-Leros route will start on June 5th and continue until September 30th.
