Important meeting in Turkey’s politics: Ankara mayor visits Good Party leader

CHP Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Chairman Mansur YAVAS will meet with the leader of the GOOD Party Meral AKSENER.

The name of Mansur YAVAS was on the agenda last week when Mr. OZDAG, the leader of the Victory Party, said “our candidate for President is Mansur YAVAS”.

An announcement was made by Good Party saying, “The Chairman of the GOOD Party, Ms. Meral AKSENER, will receive the Mayor of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Mr. Mansur YAVAS, in her office at 12:00 on Monday April 11th . The two names will have a joint press release after the meeting.”

Mr. YAVAS is one of the most important political figures that could challenge President Erdogan, in 2023 presidential election. Mr. Yavas seems to be leading, in front of Erdoagn, in all public opinion surveys so far.
