Important for Vehicle Owners! Last Day for MTV and Restructuring Payments is January 31

The first installment of the Motor Vehicle Tax (MTV) and the installment payments related to debt restructuring have started. Vehicle owners will make payments according to the MTV tariff determined by the Revaluation Rate. The deadline for these payments is set for January 31.

The first installment of the 2025 MTV and the installment payments for debt restructuring began on January 1. The MTV is calculated annually in January by the tax office where the vehicle is registered. It can be paid in two equal installments, in January and July. The first installment payment deadline is Friday, January 31.

How to Pay MTV

The tax can be paid through the Digital Tax Office (dijital.gib.gov.tr) or the GIB Mobile application (available on Google Play, App Store, Huawei AppGallery) between 00:10 and 23:50, using bank or credit cards from partner banks, money transfers, or cards from foreign banks, as well as via tax-authorized banks, tax office counters, and PTT branches.
