India’s IndiGo Airlines to start a codeshare flight from Istanbul to San Francisco, from September 25, 2023

The Istanbul-San Francisco connection will increase travel options for IndiGo passengers, making San Francisco the fifth destination in the United States served by the airline, following New York, Washington, Boston, and Chicago.

This expansion of IndiGo’s codeshare network with Turkish Airlines will provide connections to five destinations in the United States. With the opening of the San Francisco route, IndiGo’s codeshare network with Turkish Airlines will connect passengers to a total of 39 destinations. IndiGo will operate daily flights between Istanbul and San Francisco as part of this codeshare agreement.

INDIGO RECENTLY LAUNCHED FLIGHTS TO 8 COUNTRIES

The establishment of a connection between India and San Francisco is expected to be beneficial for both countries, particularly for leisure, education, and business travelers. This new connection will further strengthen the airline’s international network, which has seen significant growth recently, with IndiGo recently launching flights to 8 countries.
