Interior Minister Soylu will be on Haberturk TV to answer questions from journalists

Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu who is the focus of Mafia leader Sedat Peker’s accusations, will be broadcast live on Haberturk TV. Soylu will participate in the program to answer questions of Ismail SAYMAZ and Merdan YANARDAG, two prominent dissident journalists.

Haberturk TV has announced that Soylu will participate in the program of Ms. Kubra PAR tonight at 21.00 and answer the questions of Merdan YANARDAG, Ismail SAYMAZ, Veysi Ateş and Mehmet Akif Ersoy on the live broadcast.

Answers the Minister will provide regarding the issues that have been on the agenda after Peker’s revelations have already caused great interest in public. In his fifth video, released on May 16, Peker addressed Interior Minister Soylu, saying, “I will hurt you once every week.” In the fourth video, released on May 13, he claimed that Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu had said about him, “I like him,” and had given him protection police.

Responding to Peker, Soylu said,” I have been waiting for months for this scenario to come to this point” and said that he would take Peker’s claims to the judiciary.

Recently Sedat Peker said in his video, “Mr. Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, clean Suleyman… He tweeted about me saying ‘shit, mafia’. Before that, he called it a ‘criminal organization.’ Today I will tell you about clean Suleyman. Suleyman Soylu, did you not say, ‘they are preparing a file on Sedat Peker, I will let you know if there is a dangerous situation’; did you not give my protection police?“. In his fourth video, Sedat Peker had claimed that he had fled abroad with the news (alerting message) from Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.
