Israel strikes Damascus and Aleppo airports – Announcement from Syria

In a report citing Syrian State Television, Reuters said “Israel targeted the main airports in Damascus and Aleppo, Syria.” The Israeli military had stated yesterday that “multiple rockets were fired from Syria towards Israel.”

Syrian State Television reported that Israel had targeted the Damascus and Aleppo airports. Local media channel Sham FM indicated that the attack was carried out in response to Syria’s artillery fire against Israel yesterday.

Thousands of rockets were launched from Gaza towards Israel, and armed groups entered residential areas. Conflicts continue in parts of Israel, and Hamas maintains relentless rocket attacks.

As of the fourth day of the attacks, it was reported that over 1,300 Israelis had died in Hamas attacks.

The number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks was reported to be 1,354, with 6,049 injured.
