GLOBAL MARKETS ARE NEGATIVE
Global equity markets are trading negatively due to concerns over the US Federal Reserve’s future policies following higher-than-expected inflation data released in the US and worries that the Israel-Palestine conflict could escalate further into a wider area.
Analysts have noted that the inflation data in the US, when considered alongside the Producer Price Index (PPI) from Wednesday and the non-farm payroll data from last week, continues to raise concerns about the future.
In this context, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the country exceeded market expectations with a 0.4% monthly increase and a 3.7% annual increase in September.
