Jet2 Holidays will promote Alanya to 26 million people

At the WTM London Tourism Fair, the first post of a strategic promotional partnership project between the Alanya Municipality and ALTAV (Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation) President Osman Tarık Özçelik and Jet2 was shared.
During the fair, Alanya Mayor and ALTAV Chairman Osman Tarık Özçelik held numerous meetings and launched a promotional project aimed at increasing the number of tourists visiting Alanya in 2025. The project, in partnership with Jet2 Holidays CEO Steve Heapy, aims to promote Alanya through both digital and traditional methods.
This project will see Alanya promoted in the UK through Jet2 Holidays across various channels during a four-month period covering December 2024, January, February, and March 2025. The promotion will focus on social media and Jet2’s 12 sales offices across the UK. The first post of the project, tagging the @Alanya_Turkey social media account, was shared by the @Jet2pics Instagram account.
Promotion to 26 million people
Jet2 Holidays officials, who foresee a 4% growth in their Alanya target for 2025, stated that every percentage increase resulting from the project would represent the success of Alanya’s and ALTAV’s promotion efforts. The company aims to attract the attention of its 26 million-strong customer base to Alanya. Steve Heapy emphasized that Alanya was a strategic destination for Jet2, with significant growth potential. Jet2 also demonstrated its commitment to expanding its targets for Alanya by adding a new flight route from Bournemouth Airport in 2025.
Following the agreement and the start of the promotional efforts, Alanya Mayor and ALTAV Chairman Osman Tarık Özçelik stated, “The seeds we have planted for promotion are beginning to sprout. Alanya will continue to grow and collaborate with tour operators. This project is one of the important steps in strengthening our city’s presence in international markets.”
