Justice Minister says arrangement for “25 percent increase in rents” will be extended

Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc made a statement saying “We are working on the 25 percent rent increase arrangement and the period for this will be extended.”

Last year, measures were taken as a result of the sharp increase in rental prices, and since July, housing rent increases have been limited to 25 percent.

It is reported that the practice will continue this year. The statement came from the Minister of Justice Yilmaz Tunc. Minister Tunç said, “We are working on it, the implementation will continue. If it does not reach July 1, it will be operated retroactively.”
