PESKOV SAYS USA BEHIND ISSUES IN BLACK SEA

Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov has interpreted the approach of the British Navy’s warship HMS Defender in the Black Sea to Crimea as a provocation, arguing that the United States was behind this initiative.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov made the remarks in a television program. Peskov whoy evaluated the approach of the British Navy’s HMS Defender warship to Crimea in the Black Sea and the intervention of Russian warplanes and Border Guards, claimed that the United States was behind the incident.

“I think our intelligence agencies know who made the decision there. But of course, I am sure that the essence of such operations was planned by those across the ocean,” he said, blaming the United States for the incident.

EXAMPLE OF TURKEY FROM PESKOV

Peskov also mentioned Russia’s relations with NATO, stressing that it was necessary to establish partnership relations with NATO member countries, and cited the relations between Russia and Turkey as an example in this regard.

He said, “Our relations with Turkey are an example that it is possible and necessary that we can establish partnership relations even with NATO members. In this bloc, where the United States is at the top, NATO member countries can protect their sovereignty and take responsibility for regional security issues. In this context, relations with Turkey are very important, and rather, these relations provide stability for our region.”
