President Erdogan and ministers held a meeting today on the course of the corona virus outbreak. A curfew will be imposed on May 1-2-3 after the meeting. On Friday May 1st, Erdogan announced that grocery stores and grocery stores would again remain open between 9:00 and 14:00.

The president shared following:

We intend to maintain weekend curfew restrictions until the end of the holiday. We will impose curfew restrictions for three days this weekend. Starting 00:00 on May 1 night until 00:00 on May 3 night, we want our citizens to comply with the limitation. On Friday, our markets will be open again until 14: 00.

“We are entering a period where concrete results are beginning to take place against the corona. Our number of new patients and deaths is dwindling day by day. It is an important breaking point for our number of recovering patients to surpass the number of new patients. Turkey is the best country in Europe.

Our health system continued its activities without any problems. We didn’t just settle with Turkey, we took care of our citizens all over the world.

We brought nearly 40 thousand citizens to our country and first quarantined in the dormitories, after we were sure of their health, we sent them to their homes. Now we are bringing 25 thousand more citizens to our country.

We provide first class service to all our citizens with our existing and new hospitals and health institutions. I hope the critics over the years have been a little embarrassed.

We had the opportunity to test the infrastructure of our country up to basic needs such as masks, overalls, disinfectants and food. We managed to get out of this difficult process.

We have reached levels beyond being self-sufficient to support our friends. To date, we have provided material support to 55 countries. Finally, we are shipping supplies to the United States tomorrow consisting of masks, visors, N95 masks, overalls and disinfectants.
