IBB president President Ekrem IMAMOGLU has announced they will put three metro lines into service soon within the scope of “150 Projects in 150 days”. At the opening of Unkapanı Bridge Junction, which was completely renovated and made earthquake resistant, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) President Ekrem Imamoğlu announced they would soon put into service three metro lines within the scope of the “150 Project in 150 days”

Imamoglu shared following: “At the same time, the tram underpass that will integrate Alibeykoy Pocket Bus Station-Cibali Tram to Eminönü has been completed. The infrastructure of the intersection connecting Atatürk Boulevard and Ragıp Gümüşpala Street, one of the most important connection points of Suriçi, which overflowed during heavy rains, was also renewed.”

The mayor continued as follows:

“With the concept of 150 Projects in 150 days, we are taking action for all the problems of Istanbul. In this marathon, we will also open the 3 metro lines. One of them is the Dudullu-Bostancı line, one is the Mecidiyeköy-Yıldız section and the other is the Hisarüstü-Aşiyan funicular line. We have 12 more infrastructure works, including the Waste Water Tunnel and the Ömerli-Dudullu drinking water line. In this, we have kindergartens, health centers, student dormitories, libraries continue. We have sports centers. We have cultural centers. We are not only building these, we are protecting the heritage of our ancestors, we are taking our historical monuments and mosques under protection.
