Meteorology Warns by Province: Heavy Rain and Storms Coming to These Cities
According to the forecast by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Thursday, April 4, the weather will be partly cloudy and overcast across the country. It is expected that there will be rain in the southern and central Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, inland regions of the Black Sea, western parts of Eastern Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia.
Additionally, there may be thunderstorms and local heavy rain in the surrounding areas of Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Bartın, Ordu, Erzurum, Muş, Bitlis, and Şırnak.
Temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees in the eastern regions, while there will be no significant change in other regions. Citizens are advised to take precautions against sudden rainfall and avoid staying outdoors for long periods.
The rain will continue throughout the day, with some areas experiencing heavy downpours. Rain will occasionally turn into downpours over the weekend, with temperatures dropping. Nearly every city will experience some rain on Saturday and Sunday.
