Meteorology’s New Warning: Winter Arrives on Sunday

HEAVY RAINFALL IN ISTANBUL(1)

According to the November 1 weather report from the Turkish State Meteorological Service, the current warm weather affecting the country will give way to cold and rainy conditions starting Sunday.

For today, northern and southeastern parts of Turkey are expected to experience partly cloudy to mostly cloudy weather. In the evening, rain and showers are forecasted around Gaziantep and Kilis, while other regions will likely have mostly clear skies. Additionally, fog and haze are anticipated in the northern and interior regions.

Warning for Sunday 

Temperatures, generally around or above seasonal averages, are expected to drop on Sunday, especially in northern and interior regions, falling below the seasonal norm. These areas will feel a significant drop in temperatures as cold weather intensifies.
