In a statement regarding the death of Chief Physician Mahmutluoğlu at Erzin State Hospital, Health Minister Koca noted that the Physician had a history of heart failure from the age of 35 and passed away due to a respiratory tract infection compounded by the illnesses resulting from this condition. Koca mentioned that three separate PCR tests confirmed that Mahmutluoğlu did not have Covid-19 and added, “There will be no mass vaccination campaign or similar lockdown measures.”

In a statement on his social media account, Koca reminded that they had recently lost Dr. Mahmutluoğlu. Koca alleged that Mahmutluoğlu’s loss was being exploited as a tool for black propaganda, stating the following:

“This propaganda, due to the Eris variant, is aimed at implementing measures that are currently neither realistic nor necessary, completely devoid of scientific basis, similar to those seen at the beginning of the pandemic. Like any product manufacturer, vaccine manufacturers may want their product to find more buyers. But science doesn’t look at it that way. Who would want to use an unnecessary drug, and which doctor would recommend it? If they do recommend it, are they adhering to medical ethics? Wouldn’t it be reasonable to consider other possible relationships besides their relationship with the patient?

I invite those who engage in unscientific attempts in the name of science and those who do not see any harm in unnecessarily pushing our country into a ‘social depression’ to take on the responsibility and impartiality of science. Regardless of what anyone says, we will not do what should not be done based on speculation, without realistic data. Social depression is also a major health issue.”
