Ministry of Health announces coronavirus table of 31 December 2021
The Ministry of Health has shared the latest coronavirus data for December 31, 2021. There has been a record increase in the number of cases compared to yesterday. Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has warned about the New Year. The current data of the Turkish Daily Coronavirus Table was shared on the Ministry of Health’s website.
In the last 24 hours, 372,516 Covid-19 tests were performed in Turkey, 40,786 people tested positive, 163 people lost their lives.
AN INCREASE IN CASES AND LOSS OF LIFE
According to data announced by Ministry for Thursday, 39 thousand 681 cases were detected on 30th December, while 139 people lost their lives. Today, there has been a record increase in the number of cases, and the number of people infected with the coronavirus has reached 41 thousand.
NEW YEAR’S WARNING FROM MINISTER KOCA
Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca made a statement warning for New Year and went on to say, “Although there are no restrictions, we recommend that you pretend that there are. We are at a time when the risk is increasing. Avoid crowded, poorly ventilated environments. Prefer to celebrate the New Year in the family. We hope to leave the epidemic behind in 2022. I wish you a healthy year.”
