Mobile Migration Vehicle speeds up the fight against irregular migration in Muğla
Two Mobile Migration Vehicles allocated to Muğla by the Directorate General of Migration Management and stationed in Fethiye and Bodrum contribute to expediting procedures in the fight against irregular migration. Thanks to the Mobile Migration Point vehicles, security forces conduct identity checks on foreigners, identify irregular migrants, and initiate return procedures.
The Directorate General of Migration Management allocated two Mobile Migration Vehicles to Muğla, stationed in Fethiye and Bodrum, contributing to expediting procedures in the fight against irregular migration. The Mobile Migration Point application, initiated by the Directorate General of Migration Management within the scope of combating irregular migration, was launched in Muğla on December 1, 2023. With the Mobile Migration Point vehicles continuing their operations in Fethiye and Bodrum, fieldwork is conducted more rapidly and effectively.
Security forces conduct necessary identity checks on foreigners at the Mobile Migration Point when deemed necessary. Foreigners who cannot present their identification are invited to the Mobile Migration Point vehicles. Migration experts swiftly conduct fingerprint checks on the foreigners and perform necessary checks through the Migration Network database.
Foreigners identified as having no legal residence rights, i.e., in an irregular migrant status, are referred to the deportation center, and deportation procedures are promptly initiated. (https://www.sondakika.com)
