NATO is deploying military equipment to the Russian border
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused NATO of deploying significant quantities of military equipment to the Russian border. Lavrov said Russia could respond to security threats from Western countries and Ukraine.
In recent weeks, US, NATO and Ukrainian officials had said that Russian troops conducted unusual mobility in areas close to the Ukrainian border and that Moscow might be preparing an attack. Moscow had denied these allegations.
“WE WILL RESPOND IF NECESSARY”
Lavrov said the military manoeuvres and operations with unmanned aerial vehicles conducted by Russian Ukrainian separatists in the east of the country, under their control, was a threat to Russia’s security, and Russia was ready to respond if necessary.
