New week will scorch: Watch out for Monday!

According to meteorological forecasts, the sporadic rainfall across the country will be ineffective on the first day of the week. In many cities, temperatures will exceed 40 degrees Celsius, with particularly scorching heat increasing its impact around noon.

The General Directorate of Meteorology has published its latest weather forecasts. Today, rainy and windy weather will occasionally be felt in the northeast of the country, but starting from the first day of the week, the rain will lose its effect.

On Monday, clear skies will dominate most of the country, and the sun will make the temperatures feel even higher, especially around noon. In the western and southern coastal areas, as well as in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, temperatures will reach around 40 degrees Celsius.

WATCH OUT FOR RAIN ON TUESDAY

On Tuesday, rainy weather will enter the country from the northwest and will be felt sporadically. Due to cloud cover around Istanbul, a brief drop in temperature of a few degrees may be observed. The rain will shift to the northeast of the country on Wednesday and lose its effect.

Throughout the week, there will be no significant drop in temperatures, and the above-normal seasonal temperatures will continue.

WATCH OUT FOR LOCAL SHOWERS TODAY

According to evaluations by the General Directorate of Meteorology, today the northeastern parts of our country will be partly cloudy and very cloudy in places. The eastern Black Sea coast, the eastern districts of Samsun, Ordu, Tokat, Artvin, Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Ağrı, Iğdır, and Van are expected to experience local showers and thunderstorms.

Rainfall is expected to be locally strong on the eastern Black Sea coast, as well as in Ordu, Artvin, and Ardahan.
