Diyarbakır gets prepared to celebrate historic Nevruz day on March 21st

Turkey’s Denizbank informs IMKB about the process to acquire Citigroup retail banking unit

It has been reported that Citigroup is conducting negotiations with Denizbank over the sale of the consumer banking unit. Denizbank, one of Turkey’s top 10 lenders by assets, was acquired last year by Russia’s Sberbank.

Alternatifbank sells 71 percent shares to Qatari bank

The Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) targeting to grow overseas has concluded an agreement to buy 70.84 percent stake in Turkey’s Alternatifbank which belongs to Anadolu Holding. CBQ is reported to be the Gulf state’s third-largest bank by market value.
