Open-air food festival organized by Şişli Municipality

Şişli Municipality which is certainly known to be the most active and social municipality in Istanbul (as well as Turkey) organizes some activities to make the inhabitants of the vicinity mingle and contribute to the social quality of life in said region

Mr. Mustafa SARIGUL the mayor of Şişili is a prominent person with high popularity among the residents.

The municipality has recently organized an unusual activity which has drawn much attraction from residents as well as from other parts of the town.

An open-air food festival, organized with the support of Municipality of Şişli and Cooks Federation of Turkey, is taking place between May 11 and 13th, 2012 at “Maçka Demokrasi Parkı”.

Fourty-five companies active in food industry including restaurants, hotels, food & beverage corporations, culinary schools have participated “Sokakta Yemek” (eating on street) festival.

The program is as follows:

Friday: Appetizers
Saturday: Hot appetizers
Sunday: the day for Main Courses.

Shows by several restaurants and chefs are being staged at  the festival due to be open for three days between 13:00 and 21:00.
