President Erdogan announces new decisions regarding removal of Covid-19 restrictions
President Erdogan had a meeting with his cabinet today to discuss the issue of lifting some Covid-19 measures so that the country can gradually go back to normal. The President gave important messages covering important steps to be implemented on the way to normal.
Regarding situation of citizens 65 and over the President announced following:
Unluckily the restriction continues except for on Sundays and between 14:00 – 20:00 hours
The President also made following announcement regarding travel restrictions:
These restrictions are lifted as of June 1st.
As for youngsters age is now 18 and below and restrictions are kept except for below times:
Wedenesday 14:00 – 20:00
Other important points are as follows:
*Kindergartens will be open from 1st June
*Restaurants, cafes, patiseries will be open from 1st of June within the regulations sent to them.
*Leisure, entertainment are not allowed to open yet, like bars.
*Beaches, parks will be open from the 1st of June
*Sea tourism is allowed to start opening from 1st June with the relevant regulations sent to them.
* Open air concerts are allowed from 1st of June , with the new regulations sent to them
* Driving License schools will be open from 1st of June
*National Parks & museums will open from June 14th
