President Erdogan to go to the United States from ’Shanghai’ meeting
After attending the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Uzbekistan on September 15-16, President Tayyip Erdogan will travel to the United States from there. Erdogan will visit Samarkand on September 15-16 to participate in the 22nd summit of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as a ‘special guest.
During his stay here, Erdogan is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with some leaders after the summit session to be held on September 16.
After the summit, Erdogan will participate in the general negotiations of the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) to be held in New York, USA.
Erdogan is also expected to speak at the general assembly, which will begin on September 20.
President Erdogan, who is scheduled to meet with UN Secretary-General Antonia Guterres, may have bilateral contacts with many heads of state and government.
Erdogan will also meet with Turkish and US business people here.
