President Erdoğan to visit the United States on 16 September 2023

According to a statement from the Presidency’s Communications Directorate, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will travel to the United States to attend the general debates of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

President Erdoğan will visit the United States from September 16 to 20 to participate in the UN General Assembly general debates scheduled to be held in New York.

On the first day of the General Assembly general debates, which will be held under the theme of “Restoring Confidence and Reviving Global Solidarity: Accelerating Action in Support of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals in the Context of Peace, Security, Development, and Prosperity for All” President Erdoğan will address the UN General Assembly on September 19.

ERDOGAN TO HOLD SEVERAL HIGH-LEVEL MEETINGS DURING HIS STAY IN USA

During his time in New York, President Erdoğan is expected to hold numerous high-level meetings and discussions, including with his counterparts.

President Erdoğan will also participate in events attended by Turkish and Turkish-origin community representatives residing in the United States, as well as business community representatives, officials from think tanks, and opinion leaders from various segments of American society.
