President Erdogan held a press conference in Istanbul and shared important figures regarding exports of Turkey in 2021

Erdoğan said following: “With the reforms we have implemented, we have managed to free the Turkish economy from the shackles and its democracy from the chains of guardianship. We have developed and strengthened our country with transparent and predictable policies. This is what is hidden under the success of Turkey, especially in the last 2 years. Turkey has become a country that turns crises into opportunities.”

While number of companies exporting more than 1 billion dollars was 33 thousand, this number has increased to 101 thousand 386. Earlier, when we had only 5 provinces exporting more than $ 1 billion, this number increased to 21. During this period, our exports increased by 86.6 percent to South America, 29 percent to non-EU European countries, 22.6 percent to Near and Middle Eastern countries, and 44.8 percent to North African countries.
