Putin Says “We see the work we have done for Syria has given positive results”

Russian head of state has made some promising statements about developments in Syria at the summit in Sochi. Putin has also expressed his positive expectation regarding Syria crisis by saying “We can see the work we have done for Syria has given positive results”.

Iran, Turkey and Russia convened in Sochi to discuss the conflict focusing on the question “how to end the crisis for good and start all over again, clean and fresh”.

At the summit, the Russian head of state stated that they saw see that the work they had done recently had given positive results, and they had taken important steps in the destruction of IS (Islamic State) and they had put on the table realistic targets as to what could be done after the confrontation was over. Putin also added that the three countries had displayed a powerful efficiency along Astana process. We talked about adjusting conditions for Syrian refugees to return to their countries and how to stop fighting completely.”

Putin also said “see the support of Iran and Turkey for the gathering of the National Syrian Congress. The Syrians must make their own decisions”.
