Record increase in hotel room prices in Turkey

It is reported that hotel room prices in Turkey have increased by 142 percent.

Hotel and villa search platform Neredekal.com conducted a survey on hotel room prices in Turkey.

It was been reported that room prices had increased by 142 percent in September, compared to the same period of the previous year in the survey based on 6 thousand facilities out of 23 thousand facilities, on the Neredekal.com platform.

The province with the highest increase in room prices was Trabzon with 247 percent, followed by Istanbul with 211 percent, Antalya with 135 percent, Muğla with 120 percent and Izmir with 119 percent. It was stated that Mersin was the province least affected by the increase.

The average room price of the facilities subject to the research increased from 555TL to a thousand 341TL within a year.
