Refrigerator company succeeds in developing coooling technology
Indesit develops new refrigerator technology at Turkish plant
The research and development (R&D) department of Indesit Turkey has succeeded in developing a new cooling technology that keeps the contents of a refrigerator fresh for a period much longer than those of traditional fridges.
Italian home appliances manufacturer’s largest production plant in Europe is in Turkey. The plant in the Aegean province of Manisa produces refrigerators and small home appliances.
The company also invested heavily in R&D operations which begin to pay off as a new line of refrigerators attain a place in the domestic market and in the world markets, as well. The new refrigerator line of the company features an ozone releasing system that keeps the stored food fresh for up to nine days.
Known for its refrigerator and domestic appliances, brand Hotpoint Ariston, Indesit Turkey employs more than 1,500 people and exports 80 percent of its production.
