Russian tourists love Turkey because they have the cheapest holidays here

Russia’s Federal Statistical Office, Rosstat, began to disclose holiday prices in Turkey, which it did not publish after the 2015 plane downing crisis, 5 years later in 2021. Figures show that the price of Turkish holidays has not increased much compared to 5 years ago. In fact, it seems quite clear that the price of a Turkish holiday is quite low compared to Greece, France and Spain.
Russia’s Federal Statistics Office, Rosstat, which stopped disclosing holiday prices in Turkey after the 2015 plane crash crisis, has started showing them again since early 2021.
According to 2021 Turkey holiday prices data compiled by Turizmdatabank, Turkish holidays are sold on average 28, 29 and 30 thousand rubles, respectively, on a month-by-month basis since the beginning of the year. In 2015, when the data was interrupted, prices were 28-29 thousand rubles.
As for Turkey prices; they are 31-32 thousand rubles in Moscow and Petersburg, while more distant regions exceeded 40 thousand rubles. In the same period of 2021, Spain holiday prices were announced as 56-57 thousand rubles, while Greece trip prices were announced with an average of 48-49 thousand rubles and France trip prices were announced with an average of 69-70 thousand rubles.
