Share of foreign investors in Istanbul Stock Exchange goes down to 62,71 percent
Share of foreigners in ISE down to 62.71 percent
The share of foreign investors in the Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) has decreased to 62.71 percent.
The Central Registry Institution –a board in Turkey that keeps a registry of lawful owners of securities– revealed figures on Monday indicating that as of October 21, foreign investors owned 46.06 percent of the shares transacted at the ISE with the total market value reaching 62.71 percent.
The number of shares owned by foreign investors was 16,321,260,568 with a total value of 95.06 billion Turkish liras.
The foreigners’ share in the ISE was 63.22 percent on October 14, 2011.
