Some roads will be closed to traffic in Istanbul tomorrow due to the “14th Zeytinburnu Republic Run” scheduled for October 22. As an alternative to the closed roads, drivers can use Onuncu Yıl, Sahil Kennedy, Ambarlar, and Mevlana Streets, as well as Ekrem Kurt Boulevard.

In Istanbul, some roads will be closed to traffic on Sunday, October 22, due to the “14th Zeytinburnu Republic Run.”

According to a statement from the Istanbul Police Department, the Traffic Control Branch Directorate has identified the roads to be closed to traffic and the alternative routes for the run to be held in Zeytinburnu.

As part of this, traffic flow will not be allowed on Abay Street in front of the Old Municipal Building between 00:00 and 12:00.

In the district, between 08:00 and 12:00, the following roads will be closed to traffic: Zakirbaşı, Balıklı Kazlı Çeşme, Belgrat Kapı Yolu, İmamhatip Yolu, Çinoğlu Çıkmazı, Balıklı Silivrikapı Yolu, Balıklı Seyitnizam Yolu, 40th and 246th streets, Asımkazancıgil, Seyitnizam, Yunus Emre (both directions), Rauf Denktaş, Semiha Şakir, Prof. Dr. Muammer Aksoy, Zübeyde Hanım, and Gümüşsuyu Davutpaşa Streets, as well as İnönü Boulevard. The north and south lanes of Sahil Kennedy Street for traffic coming from both directions will also be closed towards the 16/9 Bridge.

All roads leading to the streets and avenues along the race route will be closed to vehicle traffic until the end of the event.

As an alternative, drivers can use Onuncu Yıl, Sahil Kennedy, Ambarlar, and Mevlana Streets, as well as Ekrem Kurt Boulevard.
