Stocks with highest gains and losses on the Istanbul Stock Exchange in week ending December 9

The BIST 100 index concluded the week with a 1.40% loss, closing at 7,913.76 points. During the week, the index reached its lowest point at 7,747.49 and the highest at 8,120.50 points.

In the same period, the Borsa Istanbul Services Index recorded a 0.87% loss at 7,412.09 points, the Technology Index experienced a 4.02% decrease at 10,233.40 points, the Financial Index saw a 0.51% decline at 8,196.02 points, and the Industrial Index dropped by 2.26% to 12,592.22 points.

Borusan Investment and Marketing: Top Gaining Stock

Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Borusan Investment and Marketing showed the highest increase this week, rising by 22.39%. It was followed by Ege Industry with 19.37% and Türk Telekom with 10.96%.

The top losing stocks included İmaş Makina with a 12.57% decrease, Vestel Electronics with a 10.71% decrease, and Kontrolmatik Teknoloji with a 9.72% decrease.

The most valuable companies with shares traded on the Borsa Istanbul were Koç Holding at 359.59 billion Turkish lira, Turkish Airlines at 350.52 billion Turkish lira, and Tüpraş at 294.03 billion Turkish lira.

The stock market ended the day with a decline.
